The poems in this collection are written by an amateur poet over several years as a hobby. They include both metered poems which follow the rules of the prosody as well as free form poems. The subject matters include: devotional poems, love songs, philosophical musings, moral utterances, descriptions of seasons and other miscellaneous topics.

The Pursuit of Sanity At its core, life is the enterprise of discovery. We cannot help but absorb, pursue, and manage information. We cannot help but learn by what we observe and experience. We cannot help but think. We cannot help but seek to interpret the data of life. We cannot help but pursue the discovery of some means by which we can be fulfilled in life – to find significance for life. We pursue discovery because hard-wired into our nature is the need for life to make sense. Solomon, with the aid of his teaching tool, Ecclesiastes, artfully leads us to the conclusion that life can make sense – that we can attain sanity in and for life lived.
