In some way or another everyone strives to leave a lasting impression on this world to be uniquely remembered for. It may be by one's generosity, or benevolence, or having an expertise in a certain field of knowledge. Others rise to prominence with strong personalities, or in some cases, as an individual that marches to that "different drummer." In my case it was the desire to leave my mark as a spinner of tales through the medium of songwriting. This collection of essays shares some of my favorite, and sometimes turning point experiences and connects them to a song that was inspired by it.
