A Catfish Named Carlos: The Swim Begins is the story of an overly adventurous and stubborn baby catfish that finds himself in some troublesome situations because of his own decisions. The story is based on real animals and mostly real events with pictures of the real places. This is the first of a multi-part series that will make up the many adventures of our friend Carlos the Catfish.

This is a story about all sorts of animals who are getting ready to celebrate their yearly Flying Contest which happens just up the next hill. Randolf Rabbit is pulling a red wagon stuffed with all sorts of paraphernalia, which is of course his flying contraption. He makes a little friend along the way, Anthony Porcupine, who helps him with his wagon. When they get to the top of the hill where the contest will be held, they see that lots and lots of other animals have already arrived. He and his new friend get the Randolf’s flying machine ready.
