I’ve spent over four decades in the world of classical ballet. I danced for The Joffrey Ballet under Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino, the co-founders of the company. I now teach and coach in Los Angeles. My specialty, if I may be so bold, is coaching variations. This book contains a representative sample of the variations I know, with both technical and artistic advice that can be applied to pretty much any ballet variation.
