There is a story deep in the Northern Maine woods. It is only told in a whisper around campfires, when the moon is high and bright to help light the night. There is a section of woods, nobody is clear exactly where, but every- one agrees you will know when you find it. Hunters may go in with hopes of getting a big deer; however, they always come out empty- handed and pale-faced. No hunter has ever tried to hunt that section of the wood more than once.
