The Apostle Paul introduces us to the Spirit's Gifts in I Corinthians, chapters twelve and fourteen. He begins by saying, "Now concerning spiritual gifts, I would not have you ignorant" I Corinthians 12:1. ......the assumption that the Spirit's Gifts are not intended for the church today because so many church leaders are convinced that these gifts ceased with the apostles........no place in the Scriptures does it even suggest that God ever had any intention of withdrawing these gifts .......On the contrary, we read, the “gifts and callings of God are without repentance" Romans 11:29, and "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever" Hebrew 13:8.

The course is designed for students, pastors, missionaries, and church planters. It can be adapted to fit (1) the formation or reformation of a local church missions committee, (2) the development of a new church, or (3) a projected individual or team mission effort. The study is divided into three modules: (1) The Christian and the World, (2) Mission Strategies, and (3) Undertaking Missions. Following completion of the third exam, the student shall undertake a project that is designed to bring the course to a synthesis. 3 semester hours of undergraduate or graduate credit.
