The current condition of the local church is in need of revitalization. The process of discipleship within the church has been viewed as an underlining issue for the local church. The purpose of this book is to determine the ways in which the pastor influences discipleship in the local church; in the areas of formation, transformation, and application. Through careful observation a three-step approach to biblical discipleship will be developed, in order to stop the decline in American churches.

About this book: This 10-week study on the book of 2 Thessalonians follows the general format of Jesus’ message to the seven churches in the book of Revelation. There the Lord both encourages and exhorts—He commends good work and challenges believers to identify and strengthen weak points. This study series does the same—presenting the material in Paul’s Epistles as if Jesus our Lord were speaking to the church today. Scripture is timeless. I pray individuals and small groups around the world will be inspired and encouraged as they take a new look at the dynamic principles and promises in the Word of God.
