K.B.S. delivers us a new and exciting style of "poetry" which he dubs "American Primitive", inspired by the American Primitive musical tradition. To summarize, K.B.S. weds his cynical and dry wit with a general disdain for poetic imagery and flowery language, creating a minimalistic style of prose which exemplifies the American (and specifically Los Angelesian) perspective.
