Pandemic poems is a collection of poems written since the beginning of the Covid pandemic. As a trans nonbinary human living in Texas, the last three years have been filled with emotions from sadness and horror to trans joy and hope. This book is filled with poems about loss, oppression, community, and trans joy. I am an activist, advocate, and community organizer. I have seen and participated in grassroots political and community work. I have a love of people and a passion for truth and justice. These poems describe my world over the last three years. I hope that many people find them touching, relatable, and inspiring.
