The 319th Bomb Squadron of the 90th Bombardment Group known as The Jolly Rogers was a member of the 5th Army Air Force in WWII.They fought the Imperial Japanese military throughout the South West Pacific. The 90th Bombardment Group Heavy, was commanded by Lt. General George C. Kenney. The 319th Bombardment Squadron, nicknamed; Asterperious, is one of four bomb squadrons of the 90th Bombardment Group. My life didn't start out the greatest in the beginning but with the will to want more and most importantly God, things really can change. No one saw me becoming the man that I've become to be but yet here I am. This is not to glorify street life or anything negative, I'm simply telling my life as it happened and as I recall it. From a guy who was told I was unapproachable to a guy people love to be around today. I'm just happy the past is the past and AT LAST I ARRIVED.

Decades ago when I grew up in the 1940-50s almost every farm had a large, imposing barn that was the center of the life of a farm family. Children learned their work ethic by taking care of animals of various sorts and doing the chores morning and night. That symbol of an agrarian society has rapidly diminished as farms became bigger and more specialized. Today it is difficult for a farm family to make a living from a small farm. I want my kids to understand that it is not enough to just try without a plan. They need to put some thought into what they are doing. Maybe they can improve on our ideas. My hope is that by mapping out our process I can offer my kids some comfort for when they must take on the privilege of raising their own adults. If in reading this you too can draw from the ideas and stories I have shared, then I am grateful.
