Eberhard "Ebbie" Bulach left war-torn Germany in 1951 at the age of 17 years to start a new life in the United States. He lived with his uncle and aunt in St. Paul, Minnesota. Relatives and new friends helped Ebbie assimilate into the American culture. Ebbie worked in the concrete construction business and as a machinist until striking out on his own as an entrepreneur. Eberhard and his wife, Erné, built a successful construction business during his career and they generously sponsor and promote activities that unite German and American cultures and friendships. A portion of the sales of this book is donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
