In 2013, Author M Y Fisher set out on a mission to discover the beginnings of her family. From there she found out that she was a direct descendant of one of the founding families of Pikeville, Bledsoe County, Tennessee. While coming across so much improperly documented and confusing information, Ms. Fisher decided to compile her verified family history findings into a book. The intention is for those with a slight interest in southern genealogy to those who are familiar with the history of this particular branch of the family to enjoy the photos and information with ease. Emzy Clay Romans Jr. was born in Laclede County, Missouri in 1917. This is his life story including information about the 818th tank destroyer division during WWII. I researched his fathers side of the family back to his great grandfather, John Romans who was born in 1815 in Virginia. His mothers side of the family was Richard and I got back 5 generations to Samuel Richard who was born in 1787 in Pennsylvania. Included are all the photos and information I could find on his siblings and ancestors.
