Book Synopsis
ZOEY THE LITTLE SEAHORSE is four stories in one book! In the first chapter, ZOEY THE BABY SEAHORSE, Zoey is hatched right out of her daddy’s pouch and all of the sea creatures, great and small, come to celebrate her birth day. In the second chapter, ZOEY GOES TO SCHOOL, Zoey learns some things about her sea creature friends Skeeter the roly-poly cucumber sea snail, Piper the dolphin, Barney the crab, Sam the clam, Sid the squid, and Pee Wee the seaweed (just to name a few) that she did not know before. In the third chapter, DELLA THE WHALE SAVED THE DAY, Zoey is saved by Della, a friendly whale, from Billy the “Bully” shark. In the fourth chapter, SEA BUDDIES PLAY NICE, Zoey has a heart to heart talk with Billy about bullying. Children and adults will be very interested in what Billy does after hearing from Zoey about bullying. This is a delightful book about love and friendship between sea creatures that both children and adults will enjoy.

I love this book! It is easy to understand and read. I gave it to my next door neighbors, both with little boys in school. The message of the book is a positive one, that bullying is not okay, and can be overcome together was so encouraging! The boys loved the fun facts about the sea creatures too!

My grandchildred LOVED this book. They were so excited about the sea creatures and wanted to know all their names immediately! They were interested in the friendships, the school and family relationships (the same as their world at ages 4 and 5). They were happy to hear the "Bully" became a "Buddy."
