Book Synopsis
Numerous nations fought in the "The Great War." The Allies (Allied Powers) included countries like Belgium, Britain, Russia & the United States (and others). Austria-Hungary, Germany and others fought on the opposite side: the Central Powers.

Millions of troops fought in the War and millions, sadly, would die by the end of the conflict in November, 1918.

The author, a U.S. Air Force veteran, tells the story of the conflict in interesting vintage photographs and posters of the time.

About The Author
Author bio image
T.R. Lazorishak (Luh-zor-shak), a Ukrainian-Slovak American, grew up in football-crazy Hermitage, Pennsylvania. His Dad, Ted, was the head football coach at T.R.'s high school & his Mom, Flo (now deceased), sold antiques & vintage art glass. After high school, the author enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving in West Germany & in northern California during the Cold War. He currently lives in the mountains of Colorado, far from the green, rolling hills of his youth in the old Keystone State. T.R. has numerous other short, history booklets for sale on The Book Patch website (www.thebookpatch.com). Go to the website's "Bookstore" then search by entering T.R. Lazorishak.
