Book Synopsis
Loved by some... hated by the rest. According to the religious leaders of His day, Jesus tarnished their view of God and they hated Him for it. He claimed to be the Son of God, yet He kept hanging out with the slum of society. On the flip side, Jesus burst forth with such power and love for those who were trampled on in life. A look into the gospels show to us that when people came to Jesus they were cleansed and forgiven. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest." That is the Church's calling - but why is it that in churches today, they are known more for what they stand against rather than what they stand for? Could it be that the "religious" people today and churches have become the greatest obstacle for the hurting to find love? Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up? is a book about how the readers can experience Jesus in the midst of their pain and mistakes. He is the only one who can truly restore our broken lives.

About The Author
Author bio image
An ex-pastor and still one in heart, Allen attended a four-year Bible College and spent the next fifteen years serving in a local congregation as a youth pastor and Senior pastor. The greatest joy and pain of his life has taken place while serving in ministry. Allen’s passion is for those who have been left out in the cold and are seeking a place of restoration; and for the churches of today to “realign” themselves according to the Jesus taught in the gospels. He is a father of three sons and is currently living in Hawaii with his wife, Brenda.
