Book Synopsis
This summary ties together numerous pieces of information that I have collected over many years of research, into one comprehensive history about the Wagner family in Hausen. The tale begins with Hans Wagner (abt.1505-1575) who was the first Wagner to arrive in the village and explores the puzzling history of his descendants up to the immigration of Michael Wagner (1822-1903) to Lake County, Illinois in 1845.
