Book Synopsis
Micah is a naïve woman who lost her parents, her only living relatives, in a fiery car crash a few years ago. She has only recently left a bad relationship and returned to Christ. Micah is working to get her life back on track and has no interest in the man Mrs. Nix is trying to set her up with. She tries to keep distance between her and Alexei but some unforeseen power keeps pulling them back together. They quickly become friends and before long Micah is challenged with the idea that she is in love with Alexei but trying desperately to deny it. At the same time Alexei is struggling to keep to his mission while minding rule number one, never fall in love with your target. But when things come to a head and Micah confesses her love for Alexei he can’t help but to tell her of his true feelings as well.

About The Author
Alicia Anastasio is a Christian woman who is strong in her beliefs. She has two children, a boy and a girl, and five nieces all entering or approaching their teen years. As someone who loves romance novels she wanted to share her love of this genre with her nieces. Unfortunately, many of the main stream romance novels are too graphic or too sexually explicit for how her family raises their children. She hoped to develop that epic love story every young girl dreams of while instilling Christian principals. "I want young girls to see that you can have an epic love story without premarital sex. I also hoped to show how God can restore and through faith and courage make us strong and confident," says Alicia. Ultimately she started this book as a Christmas gift for her nieces but as the project progressed she realized there are many other young Christians out there who might also get something from the story. By day Alicia is a counterintelligence analyst for the Department of Energy. Her experience and understanding of the “spy” game has helped her to frame the book. It was her desire to bring romance and the spy game together to develop an epic love story that requires sacrifice, faith, and trust in God.
