What a delightful package! Each haiku is a small surprise, served with a gleam and a twinkle. They are subtly rounded and offer a quiet insight with grace and humor. Haikus are perfect for this author, brilliant little gems that feel like gifts.

The images that accompany them are perfectly matched to the themes. And what images! The photographs are stunning, light-enwreathed caresses of scenes that make you wonder—why have I never seen this like this before? They are glimpses of our world that reveal and delight. And here and there are drawings that are no less a delight—they draw you in and then open like a flower.

This is a wonderful volume that combines visual and text in a tightly blended nuance of discovery. Provided in either spiral or bound form, for only fifteen bucks they will snuggle into a corner of your life like a kitten in a warm hearth. Which hardly does justice to the quiet wisdom wrapped in deep insight I found here.
