About The Author
Pastor Dr. Michael Jones has been pastoring for over 25 years. Currently, he serves as the senior Pastor of South Suburban M.B. Church in Harvey, IL. He is committed to equipping people for the work of the ministry through relevant preaching and teaching. He has traveled extensively to share the Word of God in churches, conferences, and seminars. As a bi-vocational leader, Dr. Jones works extensively in mental health, counseling of youth, and teaching life skills in his field. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and Chicago State University, respectively. He attended American Baptist College earning a bachelor’s degree in Theology. Dr. Jones also earned his Master and Doctorate degrees from Logos and Midwest Christian College and Seminary. Dr. Michael Jones is married to Co-Pastor, Dr. Annette Jones, who shares with him in the ministry, and has one gifted daughter, Reverend Melanie Jones.
