Book Synopsis
This is a fun math lesson plan that uses the description from the Bible to calculate the actual dimensions of Noah's Ark and the number of animals it could hold. The lesson's appropriate for middle grades and higher. The students will discover that the ark was a gigantic ship that could not only house all the animals but had ample space left over for food and supplies.

The math concepts used in the activity are measurement conversions, scale, volume, and percent. This 10-page booklet contains complete lesson plans with easy-to-follow instructions and student worksheets. Included is a small scale paper model the students can construct.

This Bible Math Project was developed in the classroom by an award-winning teacher. Students voted this their favorite project.
