I haven't read a book in paper in years. But I can't put this one down.

The letters from Chalie were kept safely in boxes in my grandparent's attic for my entire life, and my mom's. As a kid, I knew that my toys occupied the space in the attic until where the letters were kept, neatly organized in shoe boxes.

I'm so glad that my mom decided to transcribe these.

The character development that can be gleaned through my Grandpop's letters is impressive. The words read like a screenplay in my mind. It's so great to meet my grandparents when they were not that much younger than I am now.

Thanks so much Mom!
