Book Synopsis
Junuh has Autism, having a hard time in school. Then, when he gets into a secondary school, the teacher punishes him for things he hasn't even done, the only student barred from the end of term school dance. Even though Junuh is taken out of the teacher's class, he brags he still teaches Junuh. Then, the teacher sets up an end of year harassment for Mom that she has to endure to support her son, who is the scapegoat.
About The Author
M.R. Thoreson has a degree in Human Services, and has studied domestic violence, as well as Autism. She's been an Independent Provider for the state, and a certified caregiver for many years, with training that helps her work with special needs students or disabled adults. Parents have the right to be recognized in cases of teacher domestic violence,with mandatory domestic violence classes, and standards to keep our students safe.
