Book Synopsis
Juliette, an Adelie Penguin, goes on her first trip to the Aves Convention. She travels with her mother, father and brother Trysten. The Aves Convention is in the Gulf of Mexico where all kinds of birds meet to compete. Juliette and her family meet many new and interesting birds. They watch the running, flying and swimming races. She befriends Tyler, the Mallard Duck; Rowi a Kiwi; twins Jose and Carmelita, Lovely Cotinga. She learns that birds come in many different types. Some fly, some swim, some walk. They are different colors and shapes. Different legs, wings, and beaks. Some sleep during the day and some sleep at night. Juliette learns that no type is better than another. She learns that we all compliment each other with our many differences.
