Book Synopsis
Is there a future without suffering – without injustice? The Bible provides an infinite wealth of answers to such questions. So, why is the Bible so tough to read? Even most who follow Christ conclude it is too difficult. Many want to love the Bible, and yet, the disconnect persists. Even ministers struggle with it. So, the message is often missed – the message of the Son of God, providing for entry to eternal life through His atoning death? This book explores and enjoys the Bible through a “telescope” with three lenses: the “30,000-foot” lens of God’s eternal purpose; the “15,000-foot” lens of God’s personal attention through the worst of human behavior; and the “ground-level” lens of illustrious narratives. The title is drawn from Isaiah 3:8, which presents a gripping metaphor in the phrase, “eyes of His glory.” These are the eyes of holiness and love, through which the Son of God views His creation, especially those created in His image. “The eyes of His glory” see all – always.
