Book Synopsis
This is the fourth and last volume narrating the story of my life in Alaska and covers the years 1988 to 1996. The other books cover the years 1973-1978, 1979-1984, and 1984-1988. All are available for purchase through TheBookPatch online bookstore. The books are printed in color because they contain many color photographs to augment the narrative text. The narrative and photos in this volume tell about my experiences as a teacher in False Pass, Cold Bay, and Nelson Lagoon in the Aleutians East Borough, as well as other experiences living in Fairbanks and Wasilla--including summer employment with the Alaska Fire Service. I was cognizant of the historical nature of the story and may have provided more detail, especially of teaching content, than some readers would desire, but the overall intent is to portray my life, the locations, and the people as it was in that era.
