Book Synopsis
I am not a doctor, but I know that there is a direct correlation between an IRS Notice and a heart attack. The IRS is full of many different departments, employees, jargon, and rules. I have been in practice for 22 years and have defended my client’s rights before the Internal Revenue Service in regards to Audits, Appeals, and Collections. Being licensed by the United States Treasury as an Enrolled Agent, and have been Admitted to Practice Before the Internal Revenue Service, I have protected my client’s rights and have saved them thousands of dollars in the process.
The important first step is to know your enemy. What can the IRS do? What can’t they do? This is not a book that is going to tell you how to stick it to the IRS, but it will show you how to navigate the system from Audits, Appeals, and Collections. Knowing your rights is paramount to successfully defending yourself with the IRS.
In this book we will discuss:
• Surviving an IRS Audit
• Appeals
• The Collection of Tax
• Levies, Liens, and Offer In Compromise
• Taxpayer Advocate Service
