Book Synopsis
Main characters Carson and Tori step from a chopper onto an oil rig in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. After a catastrophic explosion and a betrayal they are left to lead a small group of survivors back to land while evading the living and the undead. Before reaching Texas via Mexico, a stop at La Concepción reveals a shocking mystery that changes life as they knew it. Tori uses her expertise in biology to search for a cure while Carson relies on his Special Forces training to keep them alive. The dwindling group of survivors journey over sea and land, across two countries while suffering the voracious onslaught of the hungry undead.

Quite a fast moving book. I would say it held my interest from the very start. I was especially hooked by the descriptive scenes of the zombie fights. The characters are unforgetable. I am looking forward to the sequel. A very good read. Read with a light on.

I really enjoyed this book. The story grabs your attention from the beginning and keeps you in suspense until the very end. The author created dark adventures that take you right into the apocolyptic world of zombies and pairs characters that fit the story perfectly. I can't wait for the next one!
