About The Author
Author bio image
My purpose in searching our ancestors and creating this book is to allow our own children and the generations still to come to learn how strong our parents, great grandparents were connected and developed strong bonds that helped them build this great family. Our ancestors prioritized the bonds of family. This large and dynamic family has one maternal ancestor (Nana Kwabea). The persons sitting beside you or walking pass you may be one of your close or distant Amanfoso relatives; this book could help you understand who they are and how they are directly related to you. This book gives a view of the Amanfoso family tree and shares the history of this great family. If you have any comments or feedback about this book, please contact the Author and together we will update and improve this book. Let’s educate ourselves with our history.

Kwaku Fiendi, the author of this book, was born in April 1970. Kwaku went to Kindergarten in Atuna where he resided with his aunt Adwoa Tehua. He was later sent to Transua in 1978 to live and support his maternal grandparents Kofi Koosono (a Bosonism priest) and Akua Yeboaa. Kwaku was supposed to stay home and support the aging grandparents. However, Kwaku's grandfather decided to enroll him in school because the grandfather was regretful for not to have sent kwaku's mother Yaa Bermaah to school. The grandfather stressed that he did not want to repeat the same mistake.
Kwaku started elementary school in Transua in 1979 and entered the college Moderne de Bondoukou in 1986. In 1990 he graduated from the college Moderne de Bondoukou and went to Lycee Morderne d'Agnibilekro in 1991 where he got his A level diploma in 1993. In 1994, Kwaku entered the University of Bouake (Ivory Coast) and in 1998 he successfully completed his masters of Sociology from the same University. After completing his Masters, Kwaku immigrated to Canada in July 2000 and completed a Master in social work from the University of Montreal in Quebec in 2006. Kwaku works as a Social Worker and a Sociologist in Alberta, Northwest Territories (Canada).
