Book Synopsis
We are being watched … and recruited. JACK GRAYLING is an aging romantic; a singer-songwriter whose bucket list includes authoring the next great sci-fi adventure novel. He’s thinking Indiana Jones goes Back to the Future. But his innocuous, everyman existence is about to be shaken, not stirred. Shaken to its core. Newfound acquaintances are dying and he is a primary suspect. Further, someone has apparently discovered the real-world fountain of youth, but why aren’t they sharing it with everyone? Others Jack meets aren’t who – or what – they seem. And they are offering him the most extraordinary opportunity. It means a second chance at his past thirty-five years, a prime-of-life do-over – albeit in a place far, far away. It also means a reset of societal standards and mores that had taken millennia to entangle the world in which he lives. Forget penning a sci-fi adventure novel. This manuscript will be autobiographical. That is, if Jack can survive long enough to write it.

Great read!! This comes from a reader who does not read sci-fi!! So get a copy and enjoy a "sci-fi" that is not written that way at all. I let the book to it's own talking... I do recommend it!!

Just finished a very interesting read. Jack is a great character to follow. Perhaps I identify too much from the standpoint of age, but certainly Jack has an adventure none of us could imagine. I especially enjoyed the details of Jack's time in El Paso. It is very accurate. The narrative is very well done, and the story line holds your interest. Now, will there be a follow-up to this story? It would make a great series, including a production on the SciFi Channel. Well done, Cameron.
