Book Synopsis
A Labor of Love is structured as conceptual apparatus. A conceptualization is a synthesis of ideas. A self-concept, then, is a synthesis of ideas concerning the self. Entries regard the intellectual, psychological, emotional, physical, and even quantum realms, as pertaining to the formation and development of self in a pluralistic United States.

A grasp of abstract ideas facilitates a knowledgeable application of concepts. Knowing why one thinks what one thinks is the means of a meaningful self-concept. Familiarity with the abstract makes for a measured plan or intention: a fuller conception of the self.

I wrote the book for my daughter. I envisioned a reference book that she could access at her leisure. The concepts, though, pertain to anyone who wants to engage as a communal member. This text facilitates the process of learning, which will improve the level of the next generation of United States American leaders in their own lives, in their respective communities, and beyond.
