Book Synopsis
Author Eleana M Lukes is in the process of editing the second book in the trilogy which highlights her true story of resiliency and survival while being trapped in a life of sex-trafficking here in the USA. The second book is titled “Don’t Call Me Destiny, That Is Not My Name,” and will be available July 11th 2020. The second book is a great follow-up to the first book "A Date With Destiny." The final book in the trilogy is “Just Call Me Blessed” which ties together her transition from victim, to survivor, to thriver.
Eleana was trafficked by then called, one of the and still may be, biggest prostitution rings in United States History. The Notorious Evans Family out of Minneapolis Minnesota.
Eleana has recently taken up opportunities to provide educational presentations to the community highlighting sex-trafficking, safe harbor Laws and sharing her survivor story.
About The Author
Currently Eleana is a crisis advocate & employment/education coordinator at a non-profit shelter that offers holistic healing to women of sex-trafficking as they make their transition from active exploitation to a life that includes self-sufficiency and freedom of choice.
Eleana graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2018 with a Master’s Degree in Family, Crisis, Intervention & a perfect 4.0 GPA. In December of 2019 Eleana graduated from a second Master’s program receiving a Master’s Certificate in Addictions Specialist. Eleana is currently waiting for her licensure application to be finalized as a MN Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor.
Eleana also holds a B.E.S. degree in Liberal Arts with a double minor in Psychology and Women’s studies from St. Cloud State in 2016.
