The author has phenomenal literary voice with unique, metaphorical descriptions that make perfect sense. Completely held my attention. This is a sweet love story with a harrowing twist; the author somehow takes the reader into the ebb and flow of joy and grief-without flowering it up or making it "fake" or egotistical.

From the first page this book captured me. It was about people that I know in my own life. Incredibly vivid and moving. I highly recommend it!

Johnson displays his talent for written word in one of the best contemporary romance novels I've read. The story is captivating and depicts a heartbreaking tale of first love. You not only read the story but you can feel every emotion. Bravo. I'm happy to add this to my collection.
