Description: Joseph Peter Klapatch grew in the Grassy Island Heights section of Olyphant, Pennsylvania. He attended schools in the Mid-Valley School District and was a member of the Mid-Valley Spartan Band. While enrolled in high school, he took the Vocational Course and went to classes at the Lackawanna County Area Vocational Technical Center – North Center in Mayfield on a half-day basis. There he studied Electronics Technology.
Upon graduation from Mid-Valley High School, he became a student at the Worthington Scranton Campus of the Pennsylvania State University, and then the University Park Campus. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. A few years later, he earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Wilkes University.
Mr. Klapatch currently resides near Atlantic City, New Jersey with his wife, Margi and their five children. He is employed as a General Engineer.
