My recent questioning of “Normal” has found me reclaiming my desire to speak truth and healing into the world. Then during the lockdowns of 2020 poetry reintroduced itself to my life. As I opened up to sharing my voice vulnerably and publicly, I found myself accepted and appreciated in ways I had only dreamt of while I was hiding the fullness of my Truth, questioning yet trying to follow the rules I had been taught of who, what and how I should be and believe to be successful and happy.
