In Galatians 1:1, Paul says he was not chosen to be an apostle by man. Paul was appointed by Jesus Christ and God. He was not chosen the same way as the other apostles. His appointment was in a special way and for a special purpose. Paul made it clear from whom he received his authority. It was from God and Christ.
