A lovely experience is like diving headfirst into the shallow end. /hoping for some sort of traumatic brain injury. A concussion that induces hypnotic visions of what's to come. It's a coma in the psych ward. Foam walls and sticky socks. /that slide around anyways. It's a reason to live. It's an analysis of the cosmos and microbes all at once. /and a question about consciousness. /that's on the tip of a tongue. /about to be sawed off for a snuff film. It's the last words of a doomed tongue. Flittering around at meaning. /and flopping into reality.
