This course (The Synoptic Gospels), is a three-hour credit course, aims at helping you gain more knowledge about the first three gospels of the New Testament. You will have a full grasp of why the first three gospels are being referred to as the synoptic gospels, as well as what constitute the synoptic problems and their solution. The course will guide you on the authorship, date, sources, purposes and special features of these gospels among others. The approach adopted in this course acknowledges the import of biblical context and contents to our understanding of the gospels.
