The topic of this resource: “Completed in Christ” is not a prescription for “how to be”. Rather it is an admonishment that sometimes we are not. We are incomplete in many basic ways – James declares in chapter 1:4 (AMP) “But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.” While “The Body” of Christ “is complete” - we as individuals may occasionally find ourselves in a state of incompletion. The question then begs: “Where do we stand in Him?”

The topic “Don’t waste the anointing” in and of itself serves as a ‘warning call’ – a type of ‘alarm’. The watchman standeth upon the tower. There are two types of ‘watchmen’ herein – the first being “the church” corporately, the second ‘The Holy Ghost’ within you: the watchman of your soul. The church sounds the alarm both to the world and o the brethren therein. We need to be continually climbing the tower and getting ready to fly or we will be left behind. This is not the time for corporate watchmen which parallel those in Isaiah 56:10-11. Tilla loves to learn new things. An excellent student and constantly curious little girl, she spends her days asking questions and looking for answers. During an ordinary after-school snack, she discovers seeds in her orange. This teaching is based on the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15: 11-32). Using the parable as a model, participants first examine: where they are (and how they got there), then they identify things they need to do personally in order to arise and walk in their calling. Symbolisms examined throughout this teaching are: the “house” = Heaven; the “field” = the church; and the “far country” = the world. In this teaching resource participants examine whether they are indeed “pressing toward the mark” from “God’s perspective”. Self-examination questions are used throughout the text so readers can walk away with a more realistic view of their standing. It is God who: sets the mark, holds the prize, and, ‘calls’- His way through Christ Jesus. When we truly are pressing toward the mark we can say as Paul that nothing shall separate us from God or His love (Ro. 8: 35-end).
