LAFF TIME by Ken Clanton is a lifetime collection of light-hearted jokes transcribed into poetic language. To read a Clanton poem is to be immersed in a folksy narrative, polished with rhythm and rhyme. The plot and characters bounce along in playful cadence as the story builds to its inevitable punchline. Some of the poems are drawn from actual humorous events in his life.
