The students at GCHS have worked hard to produce many different types of poetry in their freshman English class. For each type of poetry they researched, they created a poem similar to the one they studied. Each student was then asked to pick at least two of their favorite pieces. These pieces were shared in a Poetry Cafe and critiqued by their peers and teachers. Students made changes and worked together to pick their best work for publication. The anthology includes poems by these hard-working students, author bios, and photos for your enjoyment.

Mental illness can have many faces and is not always noticeable. This is just my story. But as with life, everyone has good days and bad days. Not all of my poems were bad days. I promise.
