In this teaching resource participants examine whether they are indeed “pressing toward the mark” from “God’s perspective”. Self-examination questions are used throughout the text so readers can walk away with a more realistic view of their standing. It is God who: sets the mark, holds the prize, and, ‘calls’- His way through Christ Jesus. When we truly are pressing toward the mark we can say as Paul that nothing shall separate us from God or His love (Ro. 8: 35-end).

This resource is based on the scripture Proverbs 4:23: "Keep thy heart with all diligence: for out of it are the issues of life” from a biological symbolical perspective. Participants examine: • the “heart” as it relates to one’s physical and mental self; • the inward parts – physical and spiritual; and, • the nervous, circulatory, and respiratory system in relation to one’s spiritual body. Participants further examine various addictions that affect our temporal bodies, and are encouraged to be “addicted to the ministry of the saints” (1 Cor. 16:15).
