AFRICAN AMERICAN EXPERIENCE ON LOUISIANA CANE RIVER PLANTATIONS FROM SLAVERY TO SHARECROPPING & BEYOND BASED ON THE AUTHOR'S LIFE EXPERIENCE Elvin L. Shields received the Louisiana Tradition Bearer award in October 2021 for his works in historical cultural preservation. In July 2022 Natchitoches Northwestern State University Folk Life Center inducted Elvin into the Hall of Master Folk Artists for his twisted wire sculptures of plantation life images.

The title of this book is Ancestors and Descendants Two, More Genealogy and Stories of Families from the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is a continuation of information first presented in the book entitled Ancestors and Descendants, Genealogy and stories of families from the U.S. Virgin Islands. In this book some information from the first book may be repeated with updates added. Lots of new information will be presented, along with more pictures. Additional extended families have been identified and some of their information presented. Some of the names of families mentioned in the book are: Daniel, Drummond, Millin, de Jongh, LaFrank, Wallace, Roberts, Reese, Carty, and Smith.

This is an attempt to share the experiences of ongoing apparent and clandestine attacks perpetrated by rogue government agencies and their co-conspirators upon myself and other citizens of this nation. Certainly, it is my hope and desire that this revelation will minimize and possibly eliminate the atrocities being directed toward innocent people by way of taxpayer's dollars.

At the age of 18 David Carll signed up to fight in the war, leaving behind his newlywed bride of a few days. David was assigned to the newly formed 26th United States Colored Troop Regiment from New York. He would later find himself deep behind Confederate enemy lines in South Carolina. A collection of life stories from African America Abe Steadman’s descendants of Giddy Swamp Township, Aiken County, South Carolina. Abe was born in slavery about 1833. He was married twice and produced 21 children that have spread across the south and migrated north for a better quality of life and employment. They've encountered many struggles and misplaced family members are still untraceable. In our genealogy search, we've encounter many Steadman relatives that were not related to our tree, however, we've document their conversation and family tree outlines within this book.
