Joyce Ann Prettol served on the mission field with Wycliffe Bible Translators for 45 years. She served first in the jungles of Bolivia, then the tropics of the Philippines, and finally in South Asia. Joyce was most passionate about her relationship with Jesus and making sure to share the good news. She dedicated both her personal and professional life to that pursuit, praying daily that friends and family would know Jesus more. Her greatest desire was that her children and grandchildren would follow Christ just as fully and passionately. This book was written as her personal testimony of that journey and evidence of God’s faithfulness all the way through her untimely death in 2022.

A true story about growing up in the church and straying away. After an encounter with death knowing that I was on my way to hell from the church house, I totally surrendered my life to God.

Entering denominational employment in 1956 Pastor Williams has served the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a pastor/evangelist, conducting over 25 crusades and assisting in 21 others, to include those with E.E. Cleveland, and C.D. Brooks. It was also his privilege to conduct evangelistic series in Belize, Guyana,Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Tucson, Arizona, overcoming many obstacles as he stepped forward in faith.

He traveled on foot at times in the snow upon the mountains to bring the good news of Christ to the people he loved as a service to his loving God.
