Bohemian Skipper is a collection of stories that I have compiled after having spent more than three quarters of a century on three of our country's most famous rivers, the James and Appomattox in Virginia and the Niagara River that straddles New York an Ontario, Canada. This volume has three sections; the first is an autobiographical account of Anna Beardsley Ashmun's life from her birth in 1883 to her marriage to Otis L. Linn in 1907. Sections II and III follow the genealogy of Anna's Ashmun and Beardsley roots from the arrival of both families in New England in the 1600s. The primary audience for the book is the descendants of Anna Ashmun and Otis L. Linn. The appendix for this book is published in a separate volume and is available at TheBookPatch bookstore.
