It is 1964 on Chicago’s far south side. A young man is drawn into mystery after a friend and once-famous writer dies mysteriously. A visitor from the spirit world decides to help solve the writer’s death, bringing the writer’s young friend along for the ride. One of the more fun stories I’ve had the pleasure to write.

Jerry Anders has investigated many murders, but none so far reaching as two he drew weeks before Christmas in the east coast city of Virginia Beach. A convicted police officer killer was shot with a bullet normally issued to FBI snipers. Someone is eliminating criminals who kill cops, and Anders' cases lead him to uncovering an organized effort spawned from within FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

When the police force where he successfully worked turned their collective back on his inquiries, he takes matters into his own hand, facing off against Miami Drug Lords, International Espionage Rings and the horror of his partners going down like dominoes. His keen eye and deductive mind are put to the test as time is not on his side.

Most of us complain about the lives we have; about the circumstances we find ourselves in. A few of us refuse to let our troubles define the life we will lead. Jada is such a young lady. Have you lost a child? Have you lost someone to murder? This book is an up close and personal account of the sheer overwhelming intensity of what it is like to lose a child to such a horrific crime. My only son was murdered at 18 years of age. I believe this book not only tells his tragic yet compelling story but it also takes a close look at the grief of any parent with some that have the dreaded complications that come along with murder.
