As participants ‘look in the mirror’, they are asked to assess where they stand using the Tabernacle structure and the ‘offerings and sacrifices’ in the Old Testament as models. Participants are reminded of 4 calls made upon us, the: 1) Call for duty 2) Call to surrender 3) Call to repentance, and, 4) Call to stand. In this teaching resource participants examine whether they are indeed “worthy to suffer shame for the Name of Christ” from “God’s perspective”. We as Christians are destined to suffer. As we go through the process of suffering we need to: recognize our roles (servanthood & sonship); function in the ‘new man’; grow in our knowledge of The Lord; and, adapt a Godly Christ-like mindset/perspective in order to defeat the enemy. Readers as well will learn to appreciate that it is an “honor” to be amongst the “chosen” of Christ to suffer with Him.
