“Coffee Stains on My Bills” by Mari Hall is an eclectic collection of her art with a wee bit of writing and a wee bit of poetry written by the artist during a transformative time in her life. The collection consists of twenty-four full color artworks created in digital and mixed media. Mari Hall has been creating art for many years. She is a self-taught artist. She likes to paint with oil paint on canvas. She has exhibited her paintings in the USA and in Europe. She has been exploring digital media as an art form for over 20 years.

On November 21, 2015, “Mirrors of the Mind 4: The Psychotherapist as Artist” opened at Art Share LA, Los Angeles. Many artists and guests who were present participated in a community art project called “Community Trees.” On the wall hung a painting of two bare trees. Participants took turns painting leaves on the trees, which eventually connected them together. Participants had several colors to choose from (many chose to blend colors) and they were free to place their leaf anywhere on the canvas. They each dipped a finger in the paint and became part of the work of art by placing their print. Those participants who agreed to be photographed are featured in this book.
