This teaching is based on the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15: 11-32). Using the parable as a model, participants first examine: where they are (and how they got there), then they identify things they need to do personally in order to arise and walk in their calling. Symbolisms examined throughout this teaching are: the “house” = Heaven; the “field” = the church; and the “far country” = the world. Self-examination questions are used throughout the text so readers can walk away with a more realistic view of their standing. It is God who: sets the mark, holds the prize, and, ‘calls’- His way through Christ Jesus.
