When asked to describe what the book is about, I wanted to say 600 pp, going for the laugh. But there are laughs a'plenty in the book, so here is the serious answer. This collection of poetry is one meant to leave the reader speechless but wholesome. This is an inside scoop on an ordinary teenage girl (yours truly) battling depression, among other things. Why poetry you ask? To me, it is the most vulnerable and impactful form of writing. With this book I plan to speak on behalf of those who can not and let it be known that they are not alone.
