Book Synopsis
“You’re it” is an erotic story that takes place in a protocol-heavy M/s household. M/s is a subcategory of BDSM, and it stands for Master/slave. It is a story with a timeline, characters, and some form of activity between the beginning and end. It’s written by someone who is in the M/s lifestyle.
M/s has it’s own symbols and in jokes, just like any other tangent of a subculture, and one of the big M/s norm for written work is the traditional M/s way of capitalizing words referring back to a Master, Madam, or slave.
Masters, including female Masters (who generally prefer to be called Madams or Mistresses) have an emotional need for authority. One way that need is shown in print, is in the use of capital letters for words, especially pronouns and personal pronouns (i.e. My, Hers, Himself).
